Power Outage Causes Sump Pump to Fail in Rochester, NY Home

The customer’s home in the pictures shown is in Rochester, NY. This customer suffered water damage from a severe wind storm that knocked out the power for many hours. Due to the heavy rain and the lack of power, the sump pump stopped working and flooded the basement. The customer called SERVPRO of NW Monroe County to help mitigate all of the damages. As you can see, due to the saturation of the water and the moisture level after extraction, the carpets needed to be completely pulled and removed to prevent any mold.
