Soda-blasting Fire Remediation

Soda-blasting is a process much like sand-blasting. Here, we used a soda-blasting process to remove soot from the ceiling of this basement. There was a fire that was started in the basement and was fortunately stopped before it spread elsewhere. Other than the usual fire and smoke remediation throughout the rest of the house, we used soda-blasting in the basement to help get the soot off of the ceiling. This has become more popular over time as it helps get the smell of smoke out and the wood can be repaired and restored much easier this way. Soda-blasting is just another was to make it "Like it never even happened."
